Wireless is the future, I suppose. My home phone is cellular. My television is fed by satellite. My internet via radio. One day I hope to have a small fuel cell generator for my home in order to disconnect from the grid. In the meantime, there's a tree that's intermittently blocking my satellite dish, when it's not already blocked by a thunderstorm. My cell phone only gets one bar if any because of the hill across the street that stands between me and the tower. And my internet connection only works if I place the receiver on the second story facing the lake in order to get the bounce/reflection off the same tower blocked by the hill. Perhaps I cut too many wires too soon.
